New studio storage

I was able to recently obtain 2/30 foot Sea/Train containers from a neighbor and sucessfully re-located them adjacent to my barn/studio.

Being able to move all the stuff I've accumulated over the past 40 years is an amazing thing! It has given me more work space that has been sorely needed. These 2 units give me 240 square feet each with a cubic space of 1920 cubic feet. I am very lucky to have the outdoor room for them and I am looking forward to this year's Open Studio Tours 2016.

This post is to introduce the 9th year of Open House at my Studio in Los Osos, CA. I joined the Arts Obispo (San Luis Obispo County Arts Council's) Open Studios Tour on the weekends of October 8/9 & 15/16 - 10am to 5pm each day.  I will be blowing glass and exhibiting my works of blown glass in a garden setting. Come see the murder of crows, the spider's web, the cactus garden, the pond, the aquarium, the flower stand, the holiday tree, and the aviary. These special installation environments will serve to display many small colored sculptures as well as traditional functional wares. These works will be for sale. I have been pleased with the turnout during the SLO County Open Studios in past years and hope to see them grow more in the future.

Also, I am now offering Lessons in Glassblowing and glass processes in my studio. If you have further interest(?), please drop me a line at; g_jercich@yahoo.com, or check with the San Luis Obispo Open Studios Tours 2016 for more information at their website; programs@sloartscouncil.org
Hope to be seeing/hearing from you soon.
